Trading Fees

Tiger OpenAPI charges no additional fees for trading. The same trading fees apply whether you trade through Tiger OpenAPI or the Tiger Trade app. For current rates by region, see the English retail fee schedules.

Market Data Fees

Tiger OpenAPI market data access is separate from access in the desktop and mobile apps and must be purchased separately.

Purchasing API market data access does not affect your access in those apps.

Tiger OpenAPI market data provides lower latency and faster updates.

If you request market data from multiple devices, use the grab_quote_permission method to claim market data device access for the current device.

Purchasing Market Data

Retail clients can purchase API market data access in either of the following ways:

Purchase it on the Developer Center profile page.
In the Tiger Trade app, go to My > Market Data Permissions Store > API.

Institutional clients can purchase it in the Institutional Center under User Management > Market Data > API Market Data.

Checking Market Data Permissions

Use get_quote_permission to list the permission entries for your purchased market data access.
