Trading

Trading requires an account and the relevant market/product permissions. Except for ACCOUNTS, TradeClient.Validate fills a missing account from TigerConfig.DefaultAccount; it can also fill an institutional SecretKey from the configuration.

Place, modify, cancel, and transfer operations change account state. Example prices, quantities, and IDs are placeholders. HTTP retries do not establish business idempotency; synchronous PLACE_ORDER explicitly bypasses automatic retry, and applications must not blindly resubmit orders.
